The event aims to bring together all those who work in and around the property market in an informal networking event under Chatham House rules.
Guests need only to register their interest via Twitter to Andrew Montlake, director at Coreco @montysblog or Lea Karasavvas, managing director at Prolific Mortgage Finance @mortgage_mind .
The Tweet Meet will be held at The Pause Bar, 80-84 Leadenhall Street, London, EC3A 3DH from 6pm.
The event was the brainchild of Montlake and Karasavvas who held the first Tweet Meet in June 2011.
Lea Karasavvas, director of Prolific Mortgage Finance, said: “The first meet was a great success and enquiries came thick and fast about when the next one would be.
“It is a very informal set up that brings together the community of the financial industry, putting people together in a room where they can network with others they may otherwise not ever come in contact with.
“The current climate is certainly challenging, but there was a great sense of unity at the last meet which we hope will continue. Plans are already being made for a Scottish based meet and our goal of making these nationwide could well be effected in 2012.”
Andrew Montlake, director at Coreco, said: “We were enthused with the reaction and participation in the last event and hope to increase the numbers this time round.
“Seeing brokers, solicitors, estate agents, property finders, lenders, journalists and financial industry techies chatting away the night over a few drinks was great to see and I believe some very good contacts were made to help their respective businesses.”
“The aim is to push this forward and create a proper community which can help not only each other, but also to shape the industry as a whole”.
