The deal includes all 53 branches of the Society as well as its call centre and internet operations.
Through a new arrangement and by making referrals to national broker mortgageforce, the Society will meet changing lifestyle needs and help even more people to buy their own home or remortgage to a better deal.
The new specialised service offered face to face, or via the telephone, provides non-standard mortgages to people like those with poor credit histories, and the recently self employed who are often unable to find the right mortgage with a typical high street lender.
Rob Hill, Corporate Communications Manager at The Derbyshire, said: “We are delighted to be working with Mortgage Force, the UK’s fastest growing franchise, which also happens to be based in Derby, the centre of our heartland. Mortgage Force shares our passion for customer service and this joint arrangement will ensure that more and more of our customers benefit from home loans which are tailored to suit their individual circumstances.”
Rob Clifford, Managing Director of mortgageforce, said: “The Derbyshire is an exciting addition to our growing number of Corporate Introducers. Like our other bank and building society Introducer partners, The Derbyshire can now offer a massive range of products and solutions, delight hundreds more clients and generate a new income stream for the Society and its members.”
