Mutual One has commissioned Thomas Eggar, solicitors, to write the manual. Thomas Eggar has been involved in the production of Mutual One’s Mortgage Regulation Manual subscribed to by 46 building societies and 9 other lenders.
25 building societies have expressed an interest in the manual, which will be released in stages; the first issue has now been released. In view of the level of interest shown, the manual will also be made available to other mortgage lenders and to intermediaries initially via the major mortgage networks.
