The two associations announced that they are currently in talks to explore how the two organisations can better serve their members and the public by working more closely together.
Peter Bolton King, CEO of NAEA, stated that, in respect of the international side of the business, there was clearly considerable overlap in the objectives of both organisations.
Mark Sharp, CEO of AIPP, commented that both organisations have different strengths, and that, from an industry and consumer perspective, potentially sharing the implementation of joint activities could make a positive difference to the operation of the international market.
