Reservation fees are payable to secure Nationwide's fixed rate mortgages. They can either be paid upfront, added to the loan or a higher rate of interest can be paid if no fee is levied. Currently, the reservation fees on the Society's five and 10 year fixed rate mortgages are £199. The reservation fees on the two and three year fixed rate products are £399.
