Pearce’s role at the society has now widened to encompass both Nationwide and The Mortgage Works brands.
Both Pearce and Dyson will continue to report to Richard Napier, divisional director, mortgages and general insurance.
Commenting on the move, Napier said: “The society has decided to join up our approach to residential and buy-to-let lending by bringing the product development and pricing for all mortgage brands under Tracie Pearce.
“Martyn will now head up Nationwide’s general insurance division but will maintain responsibility for the mortgage policy and regulation.”
