She takes over the leadership role from Simon Burgess who leaves the Colchester-based Company to provide unemployment insurance in the United States.
Nel was previously head of direct marketing and offer at AXA Insurance and held a number of positions with the insurer for over nine years in roles focussing on online propositions and marketing. Prior to this she worked in IT development and with Reuters in the UK and the Netherlands.
