The new office will house a dedicated membership team managed by Kevin Sandland, Head of Compliance.
The team will process all applications from brokers wishing to become appointed representatives of Network Data and will co-ordinate the Regional Compliance Officers in the field.
The team of Compliance Officers has recently grown to include Peter Blackburn, who will cover the South West & South Wales and Joanna Wing, who covers the South.
Peter joins Network Data Ltd from Lloyds TSB and IFA practices in the South West where he carried out similar roles as a Compliance Officer.
Joanna also brings a wealth of experience to the role following her many years and different roles at Royal Sun Alliance, more recently as a Compliance Advisor.
Network Data are looking to strengthen their team further through active recruitment for Compliance Officers to cover Scotland & Northern Ireland and North East England.
As well as meeting the requirements of the MCCB until October this year, a great deal of administrative work needs to be done to fulfil the incoming FSA rules and regulations as they affect checks and record-keeping on appointed representatives.
Training & Competency will also come under the management of the Crewe office.
Network Data has already signed up to the online services offered by Competent Adviser and is in the process of rolling out the service to its 750 members.
