Ranshaw has responsibility for preparing development finance proposals for approval by BLG’s credit committee and providing on-going monitoring of the loans through the development process.
Chairman Peter Wade said: “Colin brings a wealth of residential development finance knowledge to our team with 32 years’ experience in credit and lending roles.”
Wade described him as an industry respected figure having spent nine years as director and head of credit for Credit & Mercantile and four years as head of lending for United Trust Bank.
He said: “He really understands the needs of house builders and getting the deals funded.”
Ranshaw said: “I’m joining BLG at an exciting time in the company’s growth and I look forward to helping them achieve their goals and high levels of customer service by providing top notch credit support.”
