He will be responsible for running the Best Advice Mortgage Network, a new service for intermediaries, which is due to be launched at the end of this year.
The new network will offer intermediaries a host of tools including free compliance support, sourcing of software and free personal indemnity insurance. Holt was previously director of compliance at introducer network, HomeLoan Partnership (HLP). For five years he worked for Gateshead-based packager, MCA Finance where he was the company's head of compliance.
