Both are discounted from the Society’s standard variable rate, which is currently 5.75 per cent. One has a 2.3 per cent discount until 31 May 2004, which gives a current rate of 3.45 per cent, and an early redemption fee of six months interest until 31 May 2004. The other has a 1.8 per cent discount until 31 May 2004, which gives an initial rate of 3.95 per cent, and has a redemption fee period of four months interest until 31 May 2004.
The maximum loan to value is 95 per cent, and a £295 arrangement fee applies.
