The move follows recent increases in maximum loan sizes by Shawbrook Bank and other lenders and is designed to help the master broker court intermediaries dealing with more discerning clients such as barristers, entrepreneurs and City professionals.
The department is headed by Loans Warehouse director and co-founder Sam Busfield.
Busfield has over a decade of experience to provide a hands on, personal service to clients who are looking for a more bespoke solution to their funding requirements.
Busfield said: “More and more brokers who work with high net worth clients wanting to raise finance are looking at a secured loan as a viable option. These clients tend to be financially sophisticated, quite demanding and time poor. Our Private Client offering will provide a service that is unparalleled to meet these needs.”
Andre Bartlett from SPF Private Clients said: "As a Company that deal with mainly High Net worth clients we are glad to see lenders offering larger loans for, what are, very good clients. It has been an underserved market and I am pleased that we are working with Loans Warehouse to be able to offer our clients a solution that was sadly missing."
And Maeve Ward, head of sales, secured lending at Shawbrook Bank added: “We identified the need to provide larger secured loans to high net worth individuals that are looking to raise additional finance which allows them to leave their existing mortgage in place.
“We are delighted to be working with Loans Warehouse and look forward to providing an attractive alternative solution to these clients.”
