Leeds Building Society has pledged its support to the scheme. Commenting, Martin Richardson, Leeds Building Society’s general manager - business development, said: “We are delighted to support Scottish homebuyers and developers through the new Small Developers’ Scheme.
“The society is one of only a handful of lenders to offer Help to Buy mortgages in Scotland and we welcome today’s announcement.
“We joined HTB1 in England at the time of its launch in summer 2013, rapidly followed by HTB Scotland and HTB Wales. We have since seen strong demand for this type of home loan.”
