The company decided against an OFEX listing, largely due to the cost of regulation involved as well as the presence of a bid offer spread, so instead became the sixth company to sign up to ShareMark, operated by The Share Centre, one of the UK's largest independent stockbrokers.
Broker Direct distributes and services general insurance products to a nationwide network of brokers, all of whom buy shares in the venture. Investors and shareholders will be able to place orders for a first day deal date of Friday 1 November.
