Grimley has won an evening out for two including a three course meal, theatre tickets and accommodation.
The competition, which ran from 26th July to 24th September, was held exclusively for brokers who had not sold Select & Protect’s 5 star Defaqto rated MPPI policy before. As part of the campaign, the GI provider exposed a number of myths about the product and offered a range of downloads, tips and advice to better understand and sell the product.
James Manners, national sales manager at Select & Protect, said: “With all the bad press in the papers about PPI last year, many brokers have steered clear of MPPI because they think it’s a complicated product that could lead to miss-selling. But MPPI cover is actually a lot simpler than home insurance. Our product has also received a 5 Star Rating from Defaqto and our online trading platform, S2, ensures a fully compliant sale. That’s why we decided to expose a few myths about the product and help our brokers feel more at ease with selling it.”
Manners continued: “Some 75 brokers started selling MPPI in the campaign and are now benefiting from additional income as a result. We hope they can now feel comfortable to continue selling MPPI and making the most of the opportunity to increase their commission and act as a one stop shop for customers.”
