The session, which will take place at 3.30 pm on Tuesday, 22 February in the Thatcher Room in Portcullis House, will look at the housing aspects of anti-social behaviour.
“We are obviously very pleased to have been called to give evidence to the Committee on such an important issue”, said NLA Chairman David Salusbury. “The new Housing Act includes provision for landlords to be involved in the tackling of anti-social behaviour and we have concerns over that approach which we hope to be able to explain to the Committee”.
The NLA will appear in a session with the Housing Corporation and the Social Landlords Crime and Nuisance Group.
David Salusbury continued : “We are the only landlords association to give evidence but we believe we are able to speak effectively for our sector as a national body whose members can and do face the very problems the committee is hoping to address”.
