He brings over 20 years of banking and finance experience
Non-bank mortgage lender Together Financial Services has announced the appointment of Jon Hogan (pictured) as a non-executive director of its subsidiary, Together Personal Finance.
Hogan brings over 20 years of banking and finance experience to Together, including serving as a regulatory board member with three UK banking entrants. He is a founder and non-executive director at fintech SME lending bank Bank North, and was formerly a non-executive director at challenger bank Zopa and fintech bank Atom Bank. He was also a non-executive director of ING Australia and Family Fund Trading.
Hogan, a qualified chartered accountant and an MBA degree holder from Henley Business School, was also a chief financial officer (CFO) at the Australia division of ANZ Bank; deputy chief executive, chief operating officer, and CFO at First Direct; and head of group finance at Bradford & Bingley.
Following regulatory approval, it is intended that Hogan will be appointed chair of the audit committee of Together Personal Finance to replace Liz Blythe, who is stepping down after three years with the company.
Richard Gregory, chairman at Together Personal Finance, said they were delighted to welcome Hogan to the board of Together’s personal finance business.
“Jon brings extensive non-executive and executive financial services experience, including serving on the regulatory boards of several newly licensed banks,” Gregory remarked. “We also want to thank Liz for her contribution to Together over the last three years and to wish her all the best for the future.”
Commenting on his appointment, Hogan said he was excited to be joining the board of Together Personal Finance at such an exciting time.
“I look forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of the business,” he added.
