Temporary withdrawal from remortgage market with immediate effect

Nottingham Building Society has temporarily withdrawn from the remortgage market with immediate effect. We are keen to stress that this is a temporary measure and is as a direct result of the recent withdrawal of the ‘best buy’ 3 year discounted rate product. Following the withdrawal the Society received an overwhelming number of applications as clients hurried to take advantage of this product.
Winner of ‘The Best Service’ Award
Nottingham Building Society recently won yet another award for the excellent customer service it provides. We were chosen to receive the award for ‘The Best Service from a Tied Lender for 2003’ by Your Move. It is because we want to maintain our award winning service that we are temporarily withdrawing from the remortgage market.
In order to further concentrate on our service levels we would greatly appreciate it if all intermediaries currently using our services would contact their Regional Development Manager for case updates. This will allow the processors and underwriters to continue to provide the excellent service that you have come to expect from The Nottingham.
