OFM appoints sales director

Neil joined the OFM Group, the largest Appointed Representative of Personal Touch Financial Services, in 2001 as a sales consultant based in their largest estate agents office in Basildon. Neil proved himself an extremely valuable member of staff, consistently producing large volumes of business and creating a solid client bank.

Neil was promoted to manager of the Direct Sales division in August 2005, and quickly built on his solid reputation within the company. His ability to inspire and develop other sales consultants in OFM, whilst continuing to write the largest volumes of business, enabled him to win all three awards in the OFM Annual Review 2005 – Sales Consultant of the year, Employee of the year and Division of the year - before being promoted to director in December 2006.

In 2006 Neil also assisted the company in opening a new division, Platinum Portfolios, which specifically deals with the company’s most high profile portfolio clients. This client bank consisted largely of Neil’s existing business, and has already proved to be a successful division in its own right.

Neil’s individual success combined with his dedicated approach to improving other areas of the business has secured him his latest promotion, in becoming the company’s sales director.

Neil now aims to drive the business forward by developing the existing core departments as well as targeting new areas of the business. Neil said: “I am delighted to be given this opportunity by Andy, who has been the driving force behind my success in the business. OFM is a forward thinking company who actively promote from within and I feel very fortunate to be a part of it.”

Andy Sewell, managing director of The OFM Group, commented: “Neil has been an inspiration to us all since joining OFM. As a consultant he broke all the company records and as a manager he drove and motivated his team to do the same. As sales director Neil’s natural leadership qualities and innovative approach to increasing business levels will be a great benefit to the whole group. This is the first of many exciting changes already planned for the OFM Group during 2007”
