The move is a result of demand, with over 1,000 intermediaries pre-registering in its first four days on-line.
Michael Bolton, director of mortgages at BM Solutions, commented: “Recent coverage suggests that brokers and IFAs are wary of on-line facilities. The number of pre-registrations we have already received is in stark contrast to this.”
Brokers and IFAs will have another opportunity to pre-register in December through www.bmsolutions.co.uk. Following an initial pilot, the system will go live to all in January 2003.
In addition to on-line processing, BM Solutions has also added three new broker tools to its dedicated broker website. The sales tools cover remortgaging to save money, the benefits of buy-to-let and the advantages of a flexible mortgage.
