The online conveyancing specialist conducted the survey amongst all its users, both mortgage advisers and estate agents, to rate the level of service they received from the 11 solicitor firms it currently has available on its panel. Conveyancing Alliance portal users were asked to rank firms based on a variety of service standards including communication levels, speed of delivery and client feedback.
From these views Conveyancing Alliance was able to rank all its solicitor panel firms on overall service. For purchase conveyancing Stockport-based solicitors, O’Neill Patient, came top with a 99% satisfaction rating amongst mortgage advisers, edging London-based GTC Law into second spot. Estate agents gave their top accolade to national law firm, Shoosmiths.
For remortgage conveyancing O’Neill Patient shared the top spot with Huddersfield-based Ramsdens Solicitors.
Commenting, Harpal Singh, managing director of Conveyancing Alliance Ltd, said: “Service levels and service standards are vitally important to Conveyancing Alliance which is why we undertook this survey amongst all our users, both adviser and estate agent.
“We wanted to gauge the level of service that was being provided and the satisfaction, or otherwise, our users felt with the individual solicitor firms on our panel.
“We were pleased to find positive ratings for all our solicitor partners however some firms achieved a particularly strong response. In particular O’Neill Patient were clearly the advisers’ favourite and they should be proud to have achieved a 99% satisfaction rating for the service they deliver. Clearly, many advisers using the ‘Rapid Remortgage’ conveyancing product we launched last year are finding O’Neill Patient a joy to use and long may this continue.
“There were also strong showings from Shoosmiths amongst our estate agent users and Ramsdens also in the adviser remortgage conveyancing category.
“We carry out a regular review of service standards amongst our panel firms as we seek to maintain the top quality offering we are able to provide all users of the Conveyancing Alliance portal.”
