Available through Openwork’s portal, the materials - designed to help advisers compete against direct writers by challenging clients’ existing level of cover - include a guide to building and contents insurance, provider comparison charts, sales brochures and folders, letterheads, and campaign posters.
All the materials are free for advisers to order and will be re-printed as required.
The new general insurance panel, launched earlier this year, gives advisers access to a wider range of providers including Halifax and Uinsure, as well as existing providers Zurich, Cardif Pinnacle and Paymentshield.
Paul Shearman, mortgage, protection and general insurance proposition director, Openwork, said: “Now that our new GI panel is up and running advisers have a great opportunity to start promoting the proposition to clients, and it is important that we make every effort to help them do so.
“The materials we have developed take a challenging approach to insurance and should help advisers emphasise to clients the importance of having the appropriate level of cover to protect their largest single asset – their home and their most treasured possessions.”
