Thomas joins Glasgow-based Opus immediately after leaving the position of Chief Operating Officer at specialist lender Mortgages PLC after a seven-year tenure.
Under Thomas’s management, the commercial arm of Opus will now be known as The Business Finance Centre.

Looking ahead to new and immediate challenges, Thomas added: “We will be putting significant resource into our campaign to gain a strong foothold in the business finance sector. But we have a strong desire to open up new markets at regional, national and international levels. It’s up to all of us to turn the potential this business has into reality.”
