They were recruited to support the group's social commitment to positively impact lives
Specialist lending bank OSB Group has added two new members to its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) team.
ESG specialists Shana Roberts and Lexi Tsalkitzoglou were recruited to support the group’s social commitment to “have a positive human and social impact on the lives of the customers, colleagues, and communities they work with and affect.”
Roberts (pictured left), named new group communities and charitable business partner, will be responsible for preparing and implementing the communities and charitable strategy, which actively supports the group’s charity partners and local good causes through fundraisers, fund matching, and volunteering.
Tsalkitzoglou (pictured right), appointed diversity, equity, and inclusion specialist, will be the key driver of fostering an inclusive and diverse culture and environment for colleagues, customers, and suppliers. She will also spearhead campaigns promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion at the OSB Group and build on past successes in this area.
“The OSB Group has developed a set of ESG principles which will underpin all the activities we do,” Neil Richardson, ESG sustainability director at the OSB Group, said. “It’s critical for businesses to adopt and develop a more sustainable approach to how they operate. Our people are at the heart of our business and as such they need to feel supported, protected and empowered – that goes for our colleagues and customers alike.
