The winner was chosen by a vote of NACFB members, and the award was presented by TV and radio personality, and former MP, Gyles Brandreth at the NACFB gala dinner held at the Natural History Museum last week.
Paragon Mortgages was recognised ‘for going the extra mile with highly competitive or niche products and for providing excellent service’. A total of 10 lenders were nominated.
John Heron, managing director of Paragon Mortgages, commented: "We’re delighted to accept this award, all the more so that it is the result of a vote by NACFB members, people who understand the buy-to-let market backwards. It’s particularly gratifying that, having won the award in both 2002 and 2003, we’ve now achieved a ‘hat trick’ by winning it again this year.
"Despite the strength of the competition, we have successfully maintained our pre-eminent position by focusing exclusively on buy-to-let business and by building close, long-term relationships with both brokers and investor landlords alike."
