Borrowers who have an adverse credit history, perhaps because of divorce, unemployment, bankruptcy or outstanding CCJs or arrears, can be offered a mortgage from Park Row Specialist Lending through a Park Row IFA or mortgage adviser. The new division has a wide range of mortgages for purchase or remortgage from 95% loan to value, including self-certification options. Rates start from 4.8% (APR 6.6%) and the lender will make a conditional offer within 24 hours (subject to status).
Kevin Paterson, managing director at Park Row Independent Mortgages, commented: "We have set up this new division to provide a full service to clients who find that they are refused a standard high street mortgage for various reasons. We now have a team dedicated to providing competitive rates in the non-conforming market so we may be able to offer our clients an alternative mortgage if they have an adverse credit history. An invaluable part of the service is our credit repair facility which will enable borrowers to get back on track and become eligible for other mortgages."
