Paymentshield CEO Stuart Pender has made a number of senior appointments over the last year, all of which will play a crucial part in leading the business through an important period of growth. Paymentshield recently reported premium income of £186 million for the last financial year up by 42 per cent from £132million the previous financial year. It also announced that it is undertaking a tendering process for the underwriting contract for its general insurance business, currently held by Hamilton Insurance and St Andrews Insurance.
As compliance director, Graham Johnston will primarily responsible for ensuring Paymentshield is meeting its regulatory obligations to intermediaries and retail customers, including effective management of appeals and complaints. Graham joins Paymentshield from Cheltenham & Gloucester.
