He will support broker partners in Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, and parts of London
Specialist lender Pepper Money has announced the appointment of Sam Bickerton (pictured) as regional development manager for Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, and some parts of London.
Bickerton, who has more than 12 years of experience in financial services, has held several business development roles, including at Just Group and HUB Financial Services. Most recently, he was a business development manager (BDM) for the South East at more2life.
As regional development manager at Pepper Money, Bickerton is tasked to support broker partners with complex cases in the regions where he is assigned.
“In the current environment, it’s more important than ever for brokers to work closely with their BDMs to understand which lenders are best placed to meet the needs of their customers,” commented Ryan Brailsford, director of business development at Pepper Money.
“More and more customers are falling outside of the strict criteria of mainstream lenders due to their income structure, affordability, or credit profile, but there are excellent options with specialist lenders like Pepper Money.
“Sam has a passion for providing consultative support to brokers, providing them with a platform to find great outcomes for their customers. I know he will be an asset to the team and to our intermediaries.”
Commenting on his recruitment, Bickerton expressed his excitement in joining the specialist lender’s business development team.
“I’m delighted to join Pepper Money at a time when there are so many customers who could benefit from its straightforward approach to clear criteria, individual underwriting, and market leading service,” he said. “I am looking forward to helping more brokers and their customers realise the benefits of working with Pepper Money.”
