Hepworth joins Perspective with responsibility for the regulatory framework of the business and ensuring all group firms are prepared for the demands of the RDR operating environment. She will report to group commercial director, Anthony Morrow.
Previously, Hepworth was at Paradigm Partners LLP where she worked as a business consultant to directly authorised firms of IFAs. Prior to this, she worked as training and competence manager for Bradford & Bingley and as an IFA. She is a member of both The Compliance Institute and the Personal Finance Society.
Perspective Financial Group Ltd has now been trading for just over two years and recently made its fifteenth advisory firm acquisition with the purchase of Wingham Wyatt.
Damian Keeling, managing director of Perspective, said: “Julie’s appointment is the second addition to the Perspective team in quick succession following the appointment of Andrew Aldridge as our new marketing manager.
“We are only too aware of the new regulatory environment that is developing and we are fully supportive of the move to RDR-compliant businesses. Julie is on board to provide ongoing support to our growing number of group firms in order to ensure they meet their responsibilities and are well-equipped to thrive in the new regulatory environment.
“Perspective will continue to grow the group team to ensure our firms have all the expertise and experience they need not just to maintain compliance but to develop the products and services they provide in order to become more successful and profitable.”
Hepworth added: “This newly created role is an exciting opportunity at a time of considerable change in the industry. As Perspective grows the number of firms within the group, it will be my job to ensure that our firms meet their regulatory responsibilities whilst also ensuring that they have the support they require to successfully move to being RDR compliant.”
