The move sees Izard become a business development manager at Investec where he will be tasked with raising its profile with intermediaries.
Izard joined Harrods back in April following a 19 month stint at Saffron Building Society where he was responsible for the delivery of the Saffron mortgage proposition.
Prior to his time at Saffron he held senior positions at HBOS, GMAC-RFC and start-up lender Portillion.
