Trade body now has 69 members, 55 of which are banks, building societies and specialist lenders
Mortgage servicing provider Phoebus Software has joined the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA), increasing the latter’s membership to 69, which includes 55 full members and 14 associate members.
Phoebus collaborates with UK lenders across various sectors to enhance the servicing of borrower accounts. It offers a unique database that provides a single customer view across all departments of a lender’s business.
IMLA is the trade association that represents mortgage lenders who lend to UK consumers and businesses via the broker channel, and associate providers. Its membership of 55 banks, building societies and specialist lenders includes 18 of the 20 largest UK mortgage lenders in terms of gross lending, and accounts for over 90% of mortgage lending.
Richard Pike (pictured left), chief of sales and marketing at Phoebus Software, will represent the firm at IMLA.
“We have been supporters of IMLA for many years, and our IMLA membership now cements our relationship with this important force for good in the mortgage market,” Pike said. “We service mortgages on behalf of several members, and so the fit between IMLA and Phoebus is really good. Phoebus’ interaction with other IMLA members will bring valued knowledge and opinions influencing our future strategy and product development.”
Kate Davies (pictured right), executive director of IMLA, welcomed the addition of Phoebus to the association.
“We are very pleased to welcome Phoebus as an associate member of IMLA,” she said. “Their experience in the market brings valuable insight into the issues facing lenders and an interesting perspective on aspects of the market. We look forward to them joining our discussions and working together to take our industry forward.”
