The Place-Me system was originally designed to source non-conforming cases from its lender panel, but can now also source prime lenders from the network’s own lender panel.
It looks at lenders underwriting criteria checking that the client’s details meet the lender’s requirements.
Once the broker has made the product selection the system can take them directly to the lender’s website where the KFI can be produced.
The broker can add notes to the system and these will stay with the case, so that the case can be fully audited at a later stage if required.
Paul Keenan, training and development co-ordinator at Exclusive Connections, said: “We have had glowing reports of the system from our members who were already using it and feel that Place-Me would benefit the rest of our members over our entire UK membership.
“One of the benefits of a large network like Exclusive Connections is that the members are able to share knowledge and experiences which benefits the whole network.”
Ernie Reeves, managing director of Phoenix CPU Ltd, said: “The Phoenix Place-Me system has now been branded for the Exclusive Connections network, with their panel of 18 lenders, both prime and non-conforming and their corporate logo.
“When entering the software Exclusive Connections members and their brokers will be able to view any incentives being offered by their lender panel.”
Dev Malle, associate director of operations at Pink Home Loans, said: “It’s another tool and I’m sure it is of some value but without having the capacity to issue KFIs, I’m not sure how much different is it to a good mortgage desk.”
