The firm also failed to meet the PIA’s financial resources requirements and failed to co-operate with the PIA Ombudsman.
This latest action is only the second expulsion this year for failure to renew the cover, although the PIA has taken disciplinary action against 75 firms, which has resulted in fines of £4,297,000.
