The BDMs will look after appointed representatives of the Pink network and directly authorised advisers who use the Pink Club or are members of Club VIP.
Sanford joins Pink from Skipton where he was also a BDM and previously worked for PruProtect.
Thompson joins Pink from Paymentshield where she was a territory manager. Previously she was an underwriter for Abbey National and SPML.
Mark Graves, head of sales at Pink, said: “Pink is growing rapidly and the Midlands has seen the largest increase in business of any region in 2011 so we have employed two BDMs to cover the Midlands region, rather than one.
“Both Fran and Brian have extensive experience of selling and of the mortgage and insurance markets so they will make a real difference to the businesses of the brokers they work with.”
