Abbey’s range includes New Build insurance, Bedroom Plus insurance, Landlords Insurance and Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance. Halifax offers half price contents insurance when building insurance is bought, the ability to transfer a client’s existing claim free years for up to 30% no claims discount and also the option to pay monthly at no extra cost. Higos will provide a general insurance referral service for Pink’s network members specialising in general insurance products for both personal and business risks.
Neil Hoare, Sales & Marketing Director, comments: “We are delighted to be welcoming Abbey, Halifax and Higos onto Pink’s insurance panel that already enjoys Paymentshield and first4cover. Given current market conditions, intermediaries are focusing more on complementary sales, such as general insurance to increase their earning potential. And with rising costs of food and utility bills, homeowners are wanting to save money where they can, so having a wider choice for insurance, will be beneficial for both the brokers and their clients.”
Mark Finch from Holmes Mortgages, adds: “This is fantastic news. General insurance is a vital part of our business. The addition of the three companies to Pink’s panel can only help increase our potential earnings. We will be contacting all past clients and offering them a financial review especially mortgage payment protection insurance given the environment which we find ourselves at present.”
