Simon Lovell, who has worked at Pink for ten years, is now field compliance officer for North Staffs and the North West. This new position is designed to increase the support for the growing number of Appointed Representatives the network has. Lovell, along with the rest of the field compliance team covering the UK, are responsible for ensuring that the network’s members adhere to TCF standards and FSA’s requirements.
Lovell has held various positions within Pink including mortgage services team leader and more recently compliance policy officer. Lovell said: “I’ve enjoyed all of my roles at Pink and I’m particularly looking forward to the challenges my new role brings. I enjoy helping people and it is my aim to make our intermediaries feel confident about their compliance procedures, and put the customer at the heart of their business.”
Filling Lovell’s previous position of compliance policy officer is Paul Lowe who has worked at Pink for four years. The role involves looking at guidelines from the FSA and ensuring that the correct procedures are in place at Pink, checking financial promotions for the network’s members and answering queries that come through to the Compliance help desk.
After starting with the company in the compliance department, Lowe moved to help develop Pink’s insurance and other income propositions which are now fully established. Lowe commented: “Although I enjoyed my time in the insurance business environment, I’m pleased to be moving back to a role that has evolved into an integral part of Pink’s proposition. I have worked in the compliance sector for many years of my career and it’s what I enjoy.”
Kay Leslie, Pink’s network services director, said: “Pink’s AR population is growing rapidly and it is important that we grow our teams to cope with the extra demands and maintain the high quality service we provide. I am confident that both Simon and Paul will be even greater assets to the company in their new roles and that intermediaries will find them invaluable sources of support."
