eConveyancer offer a Home Information Pack under the brand ehips, which includes the option for the HIP to be tailor-made to meet the vendors specific requirements.
Pink already has a working relationship with eConveyancer. Those that are already registered to use eConveyancer’s online service will be able to use their existing passwords to access the ehip facility. The online HIPs system will enable the intermediary to produce quotes, instruct HIPs and monitor the progress of their customers’ HIP twenty-four hours a day.
eConveyancer are also offering the customer a £50 reduction in the cost of their HIP if they also choose to use eConveyancer for the necessary legal work in relation to the property transaction.
Pink are also teaming up with LMS. LMS has invested over £12.2 million to prepare for HIPs and has recently been appointed sole supplier of HIPs to Halifax Estate Agencies and Nationwide Building Society.
LMS has a referral process to their dedicated customer service team who will contact the client on behalf of the intermediary and complete all details required for the HIP to be produced.
Both providers have stated that the base price for a standard HIP should be around £300 to include an Energy Performance Certificate. The intermediary can then add their own commission to this price.
Customers that take advantage of LMS HIPs and related conveyancing facilities will qualify for £50 cash back on completion.
With effect from 1 August, Pink will also be enabling its intermediary customers to access LMS’s Conveyancing proposition in addition to Pink’s current facilities with eConveyancer and CARS.
Phil Whitehouse, business opportunities manager at Pink Home Loans, commented: “We are delighted to be offering our AR and DA customers the choice of two market leading HIP providers for 1 of August launch. By providing HIPs, the mortgage intermediary can win and retain more customers for core services and also earn valuable extra income by adding their own mark up on the HIP whilst also receiving commission from any associated Conveyancing work”.
