Cardiff-based Pink Pig is celebrating 10 years in business.
Its director James Rainbird said: “This is huge news for us and comes after a decade of hard work, great clients and diligent introducers.
“The FCA authorisation will allow us to embark on our aggressive growth plans.
“It’s part of the business plan that we have in place to grow, take on new staff and clients alike, and become the authority of finance in our region.”
He added: “The news is welcomed not only for the future of the firm, but for the introduction of new business practices: We have invested heavily in our processes, our staff and our brand.
“All of this is now vindicated with this authorisation and we can look forward to continuing the good work that we do within the ethical parameters set out by the FCA. Also, we are investing heavily in our I.T systems and software, which will be ready to launch in January 2016.
