Pink made a deliberate move last year to continue to improve its protection proposition and enhance its training programme to ensure members understand the importance of protecting clients.
Pink attributes its success to the comprehensive support package it provides its members and the vital partnerships it has with providers.
It said having the same focus and working together with the panel (Aviva, Pru Protect, Zurich, Bright Grey and LV) contributed directly to the network’s achievements over the past twelve months.
Mark Graves, director of Pink network, said: “Ending the year with another record month proves the advisers in Pink understand the importance of providing their clients with protection and helping to close the protection gap.
“We thought the previous record was an outstanding achievement but this increase eclipses it.
“Of course it couldn’t have been done without the five members of our life panel who have worked with us to provide our members with the tools they need to grow their business.
“We will continue to work and invest in the network and our members throughout 2013. It is then down to members to use what we provide in order to succeed and at the end of 2012 we saw the evidence that they’re doing just that.”
During 2012 Pink ran quarterly road shows giving members the chance to meet the providers and learn about products and the softer sales skills necessary to sell protection.
These will continue throughout 2013 with the first round to begin later in January.
