This move will enable relevant data held on each system to be transferred to the other. Client histories, with their attendant product related information, can also be stored and recalled when required. There are direct links from the reports to the Plum diary to enable the reports to be stored against the client, policy, consultant, type of report, date, comments etc. for easy retrieval.
Ann Dempster, managing director of Plum Software, said, “We are continually looking for ways to make life easier for our users and the new product selection tool will certainly help. The service will allow our users to transfer and store data quicker, essentially saving them time and allowing more contact with their clients.”
Neil Morgan, sales and marketing director at Defaqto, said, “We have carried out joint marketing initiatives with Plum previously and are delighted with this latest development, which will bring considerable benefits to the adviser community.
