Portman launches intermediary mortgage

The Society is also withdrawing its current five year fixed rate mortgage at 5.99% with effect from close of business on Tuesday 7 September 2004.

The new five year fixed rate product at 5.39% is available through intermediaries and is subsequently not available through branches of the Portman or The Staffordshire. The mortgage will also not be available through the Society's website or Direct Mortgage Centre.
