This comes days after announcing a new lender partner and relaunching its commercial arm.
The Birmingham-based packager opened its Randalstown office, in County Antrim, on Monday, January 15. Fintan Monaghan, who brings 20 years of experience and his knowledge of the NI market, heads the Praxis team. Fintan also heads up national mortgage service Switch 2 and is looking forward to the challenge of expanding both businesses.
The Halifax’s House Price Index recently named Northern Ireland as one of the UK’s leading property hotspots and Dudley Aldous, Praxis’ sales and marketing director, said he was delighted Praxis was expanding into the area at such an exciting time.
“Our research showed that, not only was there great demand for expert, specialist providers, but that a local office was also vital, “ he said.
“We have found that where brokers deal with mainland offices, there can sometimes be a lack of understanding of the local area. At Praxis, we pride ourselves on our expertise and quality of service so we want to make sure we know the area thoroughly. Having a Northern Ireland office guarantees exactly that.
“We are delighted with the response from local Brokers and IFAs. The first week has proved that the local market is happy to use a specialised packager provided they add value to their business."
