The Mortgage 2000 network has confirmed Premier will provide protection support to m2i members in an effort to appeal to members seeking a protection and non-investment route.
Steve Butler, head of m2i, was pleased Premier had been added to the network, providing a different service to what was currently available to members. He said: “With mortgage professionals having to secure additional revenue at each opportunity it has become clear that having excellent lender panels and mortgage remuneration is no longer sufficient. It has always been my goal to provide members with a first-class pure protection offering and I believe we have achieved this with this new partnership.”
Neil Burroughs, sales director at Premier, said its service would add another dimension to the m2i proposition. He said: “The relationship with m2i is clearly valuable for all involved and will help to provide a truly robust and encompassing solution for m2i’s non-investment clients. Our expert knowledge of the protection market will sit perfectly alongside the depth and wealth of mortgage knowledge that resides within m2i.”
m2i currently provides its members with compliance and regulatory support, access to the m2-mortgage club and the Mortgage 2000 Encore sourcing system, incorporating the Mortgage Trading Exchange (MTE) and the ‘Adviser Office’ from 1st.
