Hanson has been with the Society for 6 years and was previously responsible for its national call centre, which is based in Leeds.
The new role offers an exciting opportunity to develop the branch network and use her skills in a different area of the business. With twenty years experience in sales and people development, Hanson is excellently placed to develop the Society's customer facing staff. Her extensive knowledge of sales combined with a coaching background will also enhance the contribution made by the branches to the Society and its members.
When not at work Hanson enjoys the theatre and watching sport. Her favourite activity, however, is definitely foreign travel. Commenting on her new appointment Sally said, "I am delighted to be taking on this new role during what is a very exciting year for the Society. We are changing our name to Leeds Building Society on 12 September 2005 and we have a number of exciting initiatives planned for later this year."
