Protection Guru has rated Zurich, The Exeter and Scottish Widows as the highest performing insurance providers for their operational capabilities, in the first in its series of operational reports published.
Zurich received an overall rating of 7.3/10, with The Exeter and Scottish Widows receiving 6.4/10 and 6.3/10, respectively.
All three providers were rated highest for their annual statements procedure for advisers and consumers, receiving 9/10, whilst all received a nil rating for their practice management system integration.
Adam Higgs, head of research at Protection Guru, said: “Zurich, The Exeter and Scottish Widows achieved the highest overall ratings in Protection Guru’s operational ratings, as their operational performance met the requirements that Protection Guru identifies as needed to provide the most comprehensive and streamlined service to advisers and their clients.
