The two members joining are Clear Mortgage Administration Ltd, based in Cheshire, and Formula Mortgages Ltd, whose head office is in Windsor. Since RAMP announced its intention to recruit ten associate members in March, the appointment of Clear and Formula brings the number to three, after the earlier appointment of KGB Packaging in April.
RAMP has ten founder members and has been instrumental in building robust compliance practices into its members’ business models.
According to managing director John Rice, the pioneering work that RAMP has done in the compliance field allied to its relationship with product providers is responsible for the positive response from packagers wishing to become members. “We are delighted to welcome Clear and Formula Mortgages to RAMP. We have had a huge amount of interest from packagers in joining us but Formula Mortgages and Clear Mortgage Administration have impressed us with the quality of their business and also their wish to improve their offering.”
David Booth, managing director of Clear, said: “I couldn't help but be impressed with the RAMP proposition totally focused on development in a regulated market place. By becoming an associate RAMP member, Clear Mortgage Administration Ltd will benefit from the experience of the compliance team, allowing us to continue the upward growth curve we have experienced in the last 12 months.”
Fiona Hall, managing director of Formula Mortgages, commented: “RAMP has consistently stood out as an organisation which combines the best attributes of packager associations but has made its mark championing the need for packagers to run their businesses in a manner which is in line with regulatory best practice. At Formula we are looking forward to putting this expertise into our business and providing a better service to our introducers.”
