Co-operative increased its three-year fix by 0.7% and its five-year fix by 0.9%. Bradford & Bingley, which is fighting a takeover move by Resolution, increased its fixed rates by between 0.5% and 0.7%. First Direct increased its two-year fix to 6.15%, up 0.16%.
