One of the first firms signed up for the new programme is finance broker Niche Advice.
Property search portal Residential People has unveiled a Trusted Partnership programme amidst warnings that mortgage advisers and brokers must adapt to stay relevant against online service providers.
The programme hopes to 'revolutionise' the online experience of their customers.
As part of Residential People's proposition, mortgage advisers and brokers can market and target house buyers in a chosen area.
Roy Bartolo, sales director for Residential People, said: "We believe that traditional, face to face advice is still the best.
"However, we would advise mortgage brokers that they need to take on board the changing landscape and start investing more money into their business if they are to compete.
"While we do not necessarily mean that mortgage advisers should invest in an all-encompassing end to end online system, they should - at the very least - look at starting or enhancing their online journey if they wish to maintain a steady volume of business."
One of the first firms signed up for the new programme is finance broker Niche Advice.
Payam Azadi, managing director at Niche Advice, said: "We are delighted to have signed up for exclusivity for the Croydon area - its great to be associated with a property portal as we have access to a captive audience of property buyers which is great for our brand awareness."
Residential People has 900,000 property listings across its platform.
