Report covers five major markets
Mortgage Introducer (MI), in conjunction with its partner publications – Canadian Mortgage Professional, New Zealand Adviser, Mortgage Professional America, and Mortgage Professional Australia – has unveiled its annual Global 100 list.
This report identifies the most influential mortgage professionals across five major markets: the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
The professionals featured on the list were selected during a year marked by significant headwinds, including the highest interest rate environment seen in over 20 years. While slight rate reductions began to emerge in late 2024, the prolonged period of elevated borrowing costs presented challenges for brokers, lenders, and borrowers alike.
Despite these conditions, the Global 100 honourees stood out for their contributions to industry stability and innovation.
Many spearheaded initiatives to help brokers diversify their offerings, launched educational programs for both brokers and clients, and introduced technology designed to optimise decision-making processes. Their efforts have been instrumental in helping the mortgage industry adapt and prepare for future opportunities.
Selection process for the Mortgage Global 100 2024 list
Now in its sixth iteration, the Global 100 aims to spotlight individuals making a tangible impact on the mortgage industry.
The selection process draws from the collective expertise of MI and its international counterparts, who engage with thousands of industry professionals annually through surveys, reports, awards programs, and events.
This year’s list emphasises leaders who have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing their companies while driving positive change across the broader sector.
Nominees were assessed on their leadership qualities, influence on key industry issues, and their ability to innovate in response to evolving market dynamics.
