Lankey is joining from the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) where he has been interim chief executive since November.
Prior to his position at the NACFB, Lankey led the growth of the commercial mortgage business at Norwich & Peterborough Building Society and was a member of the original four person team of Aldermore Bank when it formed in 2009.
John Jenkins, chief executive at Amicus Finance, said: “We are very happy to announce that Rob Lankey will be joining Amicus.
“Rob’s wealth of experience will be invaluable as we grow the Amicus lending proposition in the specialist lending sector.”

This comes as Amicus expects to receive its banking licence this year.
